This is the passage I read today. Jesus who took the weight of the world’s sin on his shoulders, wept, and sweated drops of blood. Asking for the cup to pass, but receiving no such grace. Grace that now is extended to those who believe and confess. All for us. Then as was predicted years earlier, He rose from the dead. What does it mean for us?
I think we need to follow his example of fixing our eyes on Him. “Consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus”.
“because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved”
Romans 10:9-10
Every day make the decision to fix your eyes on Jesus. First.
The greatest, most costly gift ever to be received. Will you accept?
I like this song too! 🙂

Hello,
Popped over to thank you for following my blog – A Purpose-driven achiever, in response to my appeal at the Community Pool yesterday.
I love the evangelical thrust of your post, which also reminds those of us who have already accepted Christ, of his suffering and sacrifice which has set us free.
