Emily’s Voice

I recently attended a fundraiser for Emily’s Voice and linked to it, Not Born Yet to raise money to make and show advertisements to the wider community here in Australia. The purpose here is to help people who fall pregnant unexpectedly or having a crisis pregnancy who are considering abortion to know that they are not alone, and to show support. To help Australia to fall in love with the unborn. And to direct people who find themselves in this situation to pregnancy assistance centres.

I wanted to write this post to raise awareness for this organization. Because I believe that life is precious. But I’m also not in anyone’s shoes but my own. I don’t know what is happening in your life right now, and I’m not trying to make it seem less than it is to you.

Figures show that:

70% of women say they felt they had no alternative to abortion.

Please visit Not Born Yet and have a read of the resources there. Here are some stories for you:

Sarah’s story of adoption

Jasmine’s story

Gavin’s story and

Ella’s story

Whatever your situation, only you can make the decision. Please, have a look at the website and the stories to help.

You are so valuable. You are so loved.

Psalm 139:13-15 – “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.”
